A summer holiday experience ideal for garden lovers, taking place from 6-10 August and 13-17 August 2012.

Throughout South Somerset there are eleven ‘Classic Gardens' - places of tranquillity and beauty in a busy world. Staying four nights' half board at Bridgwater College's Cannington Centre, you can visit these gardens at your leisure, at the same time enjoying Cannington's surrounding countryside - the Quantocks.

As part of the five day holiday each person will receive an entry ticket to each of the ‘Somerset Classic Gardens' - which can be used during the period of your stay.

With half board basis accommodation, you can start each day with a full English breakfast, and in the evening choose a meal from the menu. The rooms at the Cannington Centre are single en-suite, with wi-fi internet, fridge, and bedding, towels and soap provided.

Each day is flexible, so after a hearty breakfast you are left to your own devices to choose which Classic Gardens you want to visit (self-drive). After dinner, meet up with other guests in the Cannington Centre bar for evening entertainment such as a quiz night and horticultural talk. There will be an area available for you to store any plants you have bought during your visits, for the duration of your stay.

Each holiday begins on Monday 6 or Monday 13 August (check-in from 9am) - with Monday dinner being the first meal of the stay. The holiday comprises four nights, with Friday breakfast being the final meal of the stay (check-out by midday).
